Unlucky
I have had a string of bad luck lately. First it was having both kids in casts back-to-back for 11 weeks (yes. Practically 1/4 of 2012).
Today it's that I am finally going to get my $80 piano tuned, but I have a throbbing headache and the tuning hasn't even started.

New camp chairs
Abby went with Cuyler to Home Depot last week to get a new window unit A/C. My great one from my apartment in Portland finally bit the dust. But Abby really loved these camp chairs with crazy umbrellas so they grabbed 2 of them since they were a good bargain. Today they sat out in the rain with them. It was too cute. They love them.

Swimming for Colby and camp for Abby
Summer is in full swing here. The kids are really enjoying the freedom. We've got Abby in a short morning Chinese camp and Colby doing swim lessons. All they want to do every afternoon is play with friends and neighbors. It's been nice and mellow. Today we are heading to a picnic with friends.
Here is a shot of colbs at lessons.

Day 1
All survived "day one" of my parents' visit to Utah. We actually made it to church. Colby dressed himself and ended up in dark wash jeans. Oh well. Church was fun, as usual. My parents got to see how crazy it is to walk across the street to church and how we manage to share the building with 3 wards overlapping.
The adults spent the afternoon catching up on some sleep lost during the previous night's arrival.
Dinner was an easy spaghetti dinner and (abby's) left over white birthday cake for dessert. We have made plans for the rest of the week which will include a trip to salt lake to see the new downtown construction and City Creek mall,an outing to Hebert, The Theee Stooges movie, Kennicot coper mine, tulip festival at Thanksgiving point, and some yard work. FUN! I am so glad the are here. The kids are loving it too.

Seattle Trip
We had a great road trip to grandma's in Seattle. The kids had a blast hiking through the words with their uncles, riding on tractors, making bonfires, traveling to the ocean, celebrating Abby's 7th birthday, and of course Easter! We made it there and back in one piece. We loved staying with our friends the Brims on the way up to Seattle and got to have lunch with them again on the way home- in Twin Falls. I got to spend one morning visiting with an old friend from my NuSkin HR days. That was a fun spur-of-the-moment side trip and the kids loved the hotel pool in Boise on the way home. All in all a great spring break!
