Cuyler and I were shopping for pumpkins and a few other items at a local grocery store around noon on Wednesday. As we were pushing the cart from the check-out towards the door we saw Gary Coleman leaving the self check line with one shopping bag. It was definitely him. Cuyler & I gave each other the look you give someone when you see a famous person and don't really know what to do. We saw him get into his car- small black Saturn sportscar, which was parked in a space designated as "handicapped".
I had heard a rumor a few years ago that he lived in Utah now. I guess it's true. He was in an LDS film called "Church Ball" and must have fallen in love with Utah culture while he was here. Ha ha ha.
Anyway, we really truly saw him. I can add that to my long list of celebrity sitings- which is:

Haha that's so awesome! When did you see Rod? And that's a whole lot better than my list which consists of: nada. Unless I suppose the BYU guy I sat with on the plane over there counts. -SB
Thing is, he wasn't very approachable. Kinda grumpy, actually. Folks around here say that's how he is. -- Cuyler
I heard that too! I went to the premiere of Forever Strong a few weeks back in Which Gary COLE is the star off. I kept getting so confused.
