BYU Education Week

This week I paid $31 to BYU in order to attend their annual "Education Week". It was amazing. It was sooooo hard to decide which classes/lectures/workshops to attend. They had thousands of choices. Well, these are the some of the classes I picked:

MALE & FEMALE CREATED HE THEM: Understanding, Honoring & Bridging Gender Differences (Communication)

PARENTING WITH LOVE & LAUGHTER: The Power of Praise

THE CHARACTERISTICS & ATTRIBUTES OF GOD: Jospeh Smith's Lectures on Faith, #3&4

YOU HAVE A MISSION TO PERFORM ON EARTH- DISCOVER IT!: Discovering Your Unique Gifts, Talents & Capabilities

SEASONED TO PERFECTION: Keeping the Sabbath Day "Wholly"

PARENTING 101: Teaching Responsibility

BECOMING AN ELECT LADY: A Woman as a Mother

THE ULTIMATE CAREER- THE ART OF HOMEMAKING TODAY: It's Time for a Tune Up- Finding Joy, Peace & Strength (this one was my favorite)

and i went to a few others.

There were tons of other subjects to take classes in- Book of Mormon, mental/emotional health, budgeting, music, provident living, geneology, pioneers, scriptures, job hunting, etc. But I went to the ones that really seem to apply to me in my life right now. It was really fun to be a student again.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Cuyler who was able to watch the kids all week while I was on campus.

I can't believe it is so inexpensive to go to the edweek! If only the plane trip was cheaper I would BE there- glad you got to do that. My trip to ME was therapeutic but not as uplifting as that- miss ya
