We haven't been to Salt Lake City since we moved back to Utah last July. Crazy, eh? On Sunday, Cuyler & I were able to go to the gigantic semi-annual Conference for our church. We loved the chance to drive around and fall back "in like" with small downtown Salt Lake. There has been a TON of work done to make it look great. City Creek (www.citycreek.com) looks amazing. I can't wait to go back up and do some major (window) shopping.
But the messages, talks, and spirit surrounding the church meeting were inspiring and comforting. It is so neat to be with so many people who you know have the same general goals and trials that you have. I had a similar experience in college at the all- women's college I attended. It's nice to be accepted and challenged at the same time.
